Steve Cherry
Born and raised in Lauderdale County, Steve always knew business was his calling. Growing up, he spent countless hours on the farm in the family cattle business and began showing interest in rental properties. From there, he decided to open his own construction company in 1990 that has become one of the most respected names in the restoration business. In Steve’s “free time” he enjoys working on his cattle farm in Ripley, spending time with his family (mostly his grandkids Charley & Amelia), going fishing with friends, and traveling.

Mark Johnson
Mark has been with Cherry Construction since 2016. He earned a degree in Organizational Management from Bethel College. Mark has many responsibilities around here including developing job cost estimates, billing and providing technical support throughout the business. In Mark’s free time he enjoys spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren, fishing, and traveling.
Project Manager
Kevin Trull
Kevin has been at Cherry Construction since 2014 and has been a project manager since 2017. Before coming to Cherry Construction, Kevin did custom residential builds for over 20 years. In 2018 alone, Kevin managed over 40 roof replacements and managed over 80 jobs that included custom kitchen, bathroom, and tile showers. In Kevin’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, fishing, and working on flip houses.

Ashley Frye
Ashley has been a project manager at Cherry Construction since 2015. Ashley has been involved in construction for 25 years. Before coming to Cherry Construction, Ashley owned his own residential framing business for almost 5 years. Ashley is certified in Mold Remediation, Fire and Water Restoration, and Trauma Scene Cleanup. Ashley specializes in custom interior trim work. In Ashley’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, step-son and three dogs, camping, fishing, and hunting.

Lauren Andrews
Lauren has been at Cherry Construction since 2017. Lauren came to Cherry Construction after graduation from Freed-Hardeman with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, reading, running, and watching anything on Netflix.

Perrilyn Cherry
Ms. Perrilyn has been with Cherry Construction since day one! Everyone loves “Miss.P” and the energy she brings to the business. Before Cherry Construction, she was involved in beauty reviews and styled hair and makeup for the models. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to anything at her Church, and reading.
